Thru the Bible
„Kelionė Biblijos puslapiais“ ("Thru The Bible") is a 30 minutes long breathtaking radio story, listening to which we will little by little travel through all parts of the Bible – the Old and the New Testaments. While listening to this story you will become acquainted with the heroes of faith from the past and learn where the Christian faith came from.
"Thru The Bible" is broadcasted since 1967 and has earned huge acknowledgement of radio listeners. According to the letters of listeners we can affirm that this program had a big positive influence to most of them.
GNC pruduces this program in Lithuanian and broadcasts it on weekdays at 8:30pm.
The author of this radio story is John Vernon McGee.
John Vernon McGee was born in Hillsboro, Texas state, in 1904, USA.
Dr. McGee received his A.B. from Southwestern University in Memphis, his B.D. from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, his Th.M. and Th.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. He pastored Presbyterian churches in Decatur, Georgia; Nashville, Tennessee; Cleburne, Texas; and Pasadena, California; as well as interdenominational Church of the Open Door in Los Angeles, California, from which he retired in 1970 after 21 years of ministry.
When retired in 1967 J.V. McGee set up a radio service which began to expand rapidly. Today the program airs on over 400 stations each day in the United States and Canada. Besides, this program translated to more than 100 languages and is being broadcasted worldwide.
On the 1st of December 1988, when calmly asleep in his chair, J.V.McGee left to Lord, but his service continues.

In Touch
„Prisilietimas“ ("In Touch") is a joint project of “TWR”, “IN TOUCH MINISTRIES” and “Good News Center”. These radio broadcasts are prepared according to the sermons of doctor of theology sciences Charles F. Stanley. They are on air every Sunday from 7:05pm. Text is read by Kęstas Tumasonis.
The author of this radio story is Charles G. Stanley.
Charles G.Stanley is a pastor of the First Baptist church in Atlanta, USA, as well as the creator of the Christian worship group “In Touch”. When Charles was 14, he understood that the Lord was calling him, so Charles started studying theology. He gained his doctors degree at the Luther Rice ceremony, Atlanta. In 1971 Charles Stanley became the head pastor of the First Baptist church in Atlanta. This church began transmitting its own TV program after a year of operation under C.Stanley to the Atlanta City area. Soon this program was aired all over the US through the CBN satellite network. In 1982 the “In Touch” organization was formed which prepared radio broadcasts. During the 90’s, these programs reached more than 1 million homes in the US.
Today, “In Touch” is heard all over the world. In the US, “In Touch” programs are watched on 204 stations and 7 satellite networks. “In touch” radio is broadcast over short wave networks on 458 stations and 7 satellite radio stations. The worship program releases audio and video cassettes, CD’s, DVDs’, booklets, books and a magazine called “In Touch”. Their goal is “for people all over the world to grow spiritually in Jesus and make local churches stronger in faith”.
Evening Star
„Vakaro žvaigždelė“ ("Evening Star") is a fun, educational radio program for kids, and serves as an extension of our popular magazine by the same name. The show is broadcasted on Saturdays at 7:30pm.
